the blessings of friends

God has put some fully awesome people in my life. seriously.

and sadly, i don't always recognize that. but fortunately for me, this week, i've come to that realization. i know i have great friends and family... but some people. people who are more like acquaintances have made their awesomeness known this week, too.. and i am just so incredibly grateful for that.

sometimes it's just a note saying "Hey, I'm thinkin' of you".... or if your computer was stolen, stopping in to see me at work just to see how I'm doing, it all means more than you can possibly know.

so yeah. anyways. I'm super grateful God put certain people in my life. I'm also certain that a couple of them I could never begin to explain why our paths crossed in the first place, and i know for sure of 2 of them that it's purely the other person choosing to be friends/friendly towards me, and has nothing to do with me making that choice.. and that is evidence, i believe, of God working.
